Custom perforation to drawing
Embossed plates, de-stoners, huller and herringbone screens, test sieves, ladder sheets. Send a drawing — we will tell you plainly whether we can make it.
This is the line that does not fit a catalogue. Embossed plates, dimple de-stoners, huller screens, herringbone screens, perforated test sieves — mostly for sugar, food processing and mineral handling, mostly one-off or small batch, almost always from a drawing rather than a part number.
It is also the line where an honest no is worth most. A plant that quotes everything and then discovers the tooling will not hold it wastes a month of your schedule. We check feasibility against our own limits first — maximum 12 mm punching, 14 mm laser, hole diameter at least the sheet thickness, sheet up to 2200 × 4000 mm — and say so before quoting.
The research and development team develops dies and tooling for jobs that do not have any. That is slower and costs more, but it is the reason this unit still takes work the volume plants turn down.

Common questions
- What drawing formats do you accept?
- DXF and PDF are ideal. A clear photograph of a dimensioned hand sketch is genuinely fine for simpler jobs — plenty of our work starts that way. Send it on WhatsApp or by email.
- Will you make a one-off?
- Yes. One-off and small-batch work is a large part of this line. Where no tooling exists, our R&D team develops the die — that costs more and takes longer, and we will tell you both figures before you commit.
- How do I know if my design is manufacturable?
- The three rules that catch most designs: we punch to 12 mm (laser to 14 mm), hole diameter must be at least the sheet thickness, and the web between holes should be at least 0.7 times the thickness or the tooling breaks. Our pattern designer checks all three live.
- Do you do the bending and finishing too?
- Yes — shearing, bending and precision levelling are in-house. That matters for perforated work because high open-area sheets bow during perforation, and bow control is a specialisation of this plant.
